MeKorean is an independent English-language field guide to the small systems people meet in Korea: screens, signs, restaurants, apps, reservations, stations, and tickets.
What we publish
Each guide starts with one concrete task, such as reading a kiosk, finding the correct subway exit, or making a reservation without a Korean phone number. We explain the normal sequence, the Korean labels that change the decision, and a realistic fallback when the normal sequence fails.
We deliberately keep a narrow scope. MeKorean is not a general news site, a machine-translated encyclopedia, or a directory assembled from copied listings. Every published guide is individually edited around a problem a reader can actually finish.
Who is responsible
The MeKorean Editorial Desk researches, writes, reviews, and updates the site. We identify the publisher consistently so readers know who is accountable even when a guide is the result of shared desk research rather than one person's opinion.
Facts that can change are checked against public agencies, transport operators, and the official service being described. Observational advice is labeled as practical interpretation, not presented as an official rule.
Independence
No service has paid to be included in the current guides. Naming an app, operator, or venue type does not imply affiliation or endorsement. If sponsorship or affiliate relationships are added later, they will be disclosed where they affect a page.
