Information processed during a visit

The site's hosting and security providers may process standard technical records such as the requested page, date and time, browser and device type, referring page, approximate network location, and IP address. These records are used to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, and diagnose failures.

MeKorean does not offer user accounts and does not ask readers to submit names, profiles, or public posts. If you email us, we receive the address and content you choose to send and use it to answer the message or investigate a correction.

Children

MeKorean is a general travel and everyday-life information site, not a service directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent personal information can contact us for review.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. We may need enough information to understand and verify a request, but do not send passwords, payment details, or identity documents unless we specifically explain why they are legally necessary.
